The Estimation Company (TEC) ("we", "our", or "us") respects the proprietary nature and sensitivity of all construction planning files. This Privacy Policy details our operational data handling, security architecture, and client non-disclosure protocols.
All architectural drawings (DWG, DXF, PDF, BIM/Revit), structural schedules, bill of quantities, contractor bids, rate breakdowns, and tender documents submitted to TEC are treated as strictly confidential business information. We do not license, publish, distribute, or share project drawings with third parties under any circumstances.
Upon request, TEC executes standard bilateral NDAs prior to receiving drawing sets or proprietary contractor quotations. All quantity surveyors and cost engineers working within TEC are bound by enforceable internal confidentiality covenants.
When you interact with our project intake forms or the AskTEC AI assistant, we collect your contact credentials (name, phone, WhatsApp, email) and project parameters solely for proposal formulation and project communication. We do not use your proprietary drawing data or cost schedules to train public AI models.
Project calculation files and source drawings are retained in secure, access-restricted encrypted storage during project execution. Clients may request complete data expungement and permanent file purging upon final deliverable handover and account closure.
